On Saturday, before I headed down to Laguna for the OSP Meetup, I shot a family portrait session with my good friends, The Leumann’s. Ivan, Frankie and their two little ones headed out to the park with me and had a blast playing (I say play because there is no way you can call it ‘work’) in front of the camera. We got some great shots and I can’t wait to get the prints!

Check out Ivan, Frankie, Dylan and Sarah below…

This is little Sarah. She wasn’t a big fan of the camera, but I was able to steal a couple like this with a little bit of coaxing. =)

And this is Dylan… Always hammin’ it up in front of the camera.

My favorite of the day…

I had to save this for last. Like I said… he’s was a total ham in front of the camera. =)

Ivan, Frankie, Dylan and Sarah… THANKS so much for the honor of shooting your family portraits!!

Hey party people. Back in March I got the chance to work as a 3rd shooter for Eddie Roman of Roman Studio at the Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton, CA. It was a very cool Scottish wedding with everything down to the kilts, bagpipes and yes, even swords! Along with Eddie, I got to meet and work with Jim Sisco. A little someone by the name of Mike Colon mentioned Jim as someone who helped him get his start in the wedding photo biz. Small world eh? Jim was hilarious, by the way… you can tell that after 25+ years in the wedding biz, Jim still loves what he does.

Below are a few of the shots from the wedding which I was permitted to use here on my blog and portfolio. So take a gander and also check out Eddie and Jim’s sites… they are a great couple of guys and I had a blast working with them!

OSP Laguna Meetup…

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting quite a few local photographers from the OSP (Open Source Photo) Forum. We met downtown and headed to the beach to shoot variations of a model portrait session as well as an engagement session. Things like this really remind me that I am VERY lucky to have found my true passion in life. It will never feel like “work” when you do what you love every day. I had SO much fun meeting everyone and I can’t wait for the next get-together.

Below are some of the shots that I took while bouncing back an forth between couple and model. I had fun jumping in the water and climbing up the hills for some of these… Hope ya like ‘em!!

Well… I’m trying to make a better effort of blogging daily. Today, though, is just crazy busy and I really don’t have much to say. So… without further adieu… here is my cat, “Captain Morgan”.

Enjoy. I’m off to go design a new event card, banner and booth displays for next weekends E3 race that I’m sponsoring. Be cool.
