Annie & Corey – Cedar Rapids, Iowa Wedding Photography

No need to pinch yourself or adjust your internet… I really am posting on my blog!! And… the reason this post is sooo late is because I shot a wedding in Iowa and had to walk the entire way back! Well, not really, but here is the wedding anyway…

Meet Annie & Corey. They may be some of our favorite people. Ever. Annie is one of my wife’s partners in crime as well as fellow “Dan Band” FANATIC. Seriously… it may require professional help soon. That said… Dan Finnerty, you should be scared. Very scared. Anyway, back on topic. We were asked to fly out and shoot this amazing wedding… on a farm… in gorgeous weather… in Iowa. Yes, please! We arrived in Iowa, greeted by looming thunder clouds and cold cold wind. We happened to leave Iowa with approaching thunder clouds and cold cold wind. BUT… the wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! I couldn’t have asked for better light, temperature, scenery, or people. Someone must have been sending out some goood joo-joo that day. We definitely lucked out. =)

Anyway, instead of me rambling on and on (Good thing I’m a photographer and not a writer), I will just start with the photos…

Some people say they will get married when pigs fly… Well…

Annie… could you be any more excited? =)

This wedding was held on Annie’s Step-Father’s farm. Gary… you are the man!

Always love shooting a “First Look” before the ceremony.

We had to put Corey in a white tie so that Annie wouldn’t marry the wrong twin…

Racehorse Royalty did some amazing work with the flowers.

This is Derby. If I were a dog, I would want to be Derby. This little dude has it MADE! =P

The wedding party rode to the ceremony across the farm via tractor and wagon. So cool! Also, this is Emily about to hitch her ride. We are so excited to be heading back out to Iowa this New Year’s Eve to shoot her wedding!!

Annie: “I am soo excited!” – Corey: “Yup, I’m on a tractor… Jealous?”

Custom suspended stained glass window for their backdrop at the ceremony… Beautiful!!

Might be some of my favorite wedding portraits, ever!

This is what happens when you accidentally refer to your wedding as an “ordeal” in front of all your friends and family… So CLASSIC!

I will leave you all with the results of one of the best wedding dance-offs I have ever seen. Well played gentlemen, well played.

Annie… Corey… Thank you so much for having us along with you on your amazing wedding day. It was truly an honor being able to document all of this for you guys and we can’t wait to see you again!
