Stephanie & Joe – Maternity (Livermore, CA)

Hello internet! I’m so excited to share with all of you some amazing maternity photos that I shot up in Northern California this past weekend.  Joe and Stephanie are very close friends of ours… and when I say close, I mean that Heather and I love them more than food. Yes, I said it!! They rock! Heather met Stephanie while attending school at Oregon State (GO BEAVS!!) and were instantly the best of friends. Eventually, Stephanie and Heather met two amazing men (cough cough) and we have become very close over the years… the end, haha!

On to the photos!… Joe recommended this beautiful location south of Livermore, which I admit, I had no clue what to expect while driving there. Especially since we were shooting outdoors with the sun at it’s highest point. Not normally my favorite time of day… but you can make anything work with a little practice. Luckily, natural light is something I primarily work with in almost every shoot, so I wasn’t too worried. So, needless to say, when we arrived I was STOKED! We started in a vineyard and got a LOT of great shots before getting kicked out… we were sneaky, haha! Once we left there we went back to Joe and Steph’s casa and finished with a few editorial-esque photos. Great images, great fun and most importantly, GREAT people.

Thanks once again, Joe & Steph, for your amazing hospitality and dear friendship. You guys mean so much to us and we CAN NOT WAIT for little Buster to get here! Cheers to your new little family and we will see you soon!
